About the Role

As an Engineering Underwriter, you will be at the heart of our underwriting
operations — bridging analytical excellence with client-focused solutions. You
will partner closely with senior underwriters to drive economic profit growth,
delivering sharp pre-underwriting analysis and seamless post-underwriting
support across treaty and facultative engineering business. This role offers a
unique blend of technical depth and market exposure.

Key Responsibilities
Drive economic profit growth by providing high-quality analytical support to
senior underwriters in India, enabling informed underwriting decisions on




engineering treaty and facultative business
Conduct thorough exposure assessments, input pricing data into systems, and
prepare pre-underwriting notes for review by Engineering Underwriters
Complete post-underwriting activities accurately and efficiently in the
system upon finalization of business by the underwriter
Analyse client requests from the Indian market and deliver well-reasoned
recommendations on engineering treaty and facultative business
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deal-team solutions and
client needs
Contribute to and exchange knowledge within the Engineering Underwriting
community, sharing insights and best practices across the global network
Stay informed on global Engineering market trends and developments, applying
specialist know-how to add value to clients and client teams in India
