Role Overview

We are looking for a Gallery Assistant who is passionate about the art market, different art forms, and working closely with artists. Candidates who are articulate, organised, people-friendly, and eager to immerse themselves in gallery operations are ideally suited.

Responsibilities

Assist in gallery operations, visitor engagement, and exhibition support.
Communicate confidently with artists, clients, and walk-in visitors.
Maintain records of artworks, clients, sales, and event details.
Provide insights into artworks, artists, and ongoing exhibitions.
Be present physically during gallery hours, events, workshops, and shows.
Support curation setup, display arrangements, and coordination tasks.

Requirements

Keen interest in the art market, art history,



and contemporary art forms.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive organisational ability and record-keeping skills.
Willingness to work in a hybrid format with required in office presence.
