A Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials, maintaining cost-effective relationships with suppliers.

Roles And Responsibilities

- Sourcing and procurement: Source and procure materials, components, and services, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Supplier management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring quality standards.
- Contract management: Manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Market analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify recent suppliers, trends, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Cost reduction initiatives:



Implement cost reduction initiatives, including value analysis and supplier rationalization.
- Inventory management: Collaborate with inventory management team to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Supply chain optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize supply chain operations, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
- Manage purchase activities for DGs, Export – Import for compressors.
- Follow up with Suppliers and handle payment calls.
- Manage Indents & long lead items. Conduct review with head Engg.
- Maintain files - Planning sheet, stock & Inventory, Purchase Orders & Quotations.
