Job Title
Manager – Healthcare CSR Partnerships & Fundraising
Department: CSR & Strategic Partnerships
Location: Pune (Travel Required)
Reports To: Director / Head – CSR & Partnerships
Job Summary The Manager – Healthcare CSR Partnerships & Fundraising will be responsible for developing and managing healthcare CSR initiatives by securing corporate funding, building collaborations with domestic and international agencies, establishing partnerships with government departments and hospitals, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring end-to-end documentation and project readiness. The role requires strategic planning, stakeholder management, proposal development, and execution support to successfully implement healthcare projects across India.
Key Responsibilities
- CSR Fundraising & Corporate Partnerships
- Identify and approach CSR donors, corporate partners, and philanthropic organizations for healthcare projects.
- Develop customized CSR proposals aligned with Schedule VII of the Companies Act.
- Build long-term relationships with CSR heads, foundations, and corporate decision-makers.
- Coordinate meetings, presentations, and project pitches with potential donors.
- Maintain a fundraising pipeline and donor database.
- Foreign Agency Collaboration
- Identify funding opportunities from international development agencies, foundations, embassies, and multilateral organizations.
- Build partnerships with foreign NGOs, donor agencies, and philanthropic institutions.
- Coordinate due diligence and compliance requirements related to FCRA and foreign funding.
- Prepare concept notes, grant proposals, budgets, and donor reports.
- Maintain communication with international stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Government Partnerships
- Liaise with Central Government, State Government, Municipal Corporations, District Administration, Health Departments, Medical Colleges, and Public Health Institutions.
- Coordinate approvals, permissions, MoUs, and partnership agreements.
- Represent the organization in government meetings and healthcare forums.
- Develop strategic partnerships with government bodies for healthcare interventions.
- Healthcare Project Development
- Identify healthcare needs across districts and states.
- Prepare project concepts for hospitals, PHCs, CHCs, mobile healthcare units, diagnostics, maternal and child health, cancer care, dialysis centres, mental health, and other healthcare initiatives.
- Conduct feasibility assessments and stakeholder consultations.
- Support project planning, budgeting, and implementation strategy.
- Hospital Partnership Development
- Identify and evaluate government and private hospitals for CSR interventions.
- Build strategic partnerships with hospitals, healthcare institutions, medical colleges, and specialty centres.
- Prepare hospital assessment reports.
- Coordinate MoUs and implementation frameworks.
- Monitor hospital engagement and project readiness.
- Vendor Identification & Finalization
- Identify and evaluate healthcare vendors and service providers.
- Coordinate procurement processes and vendor assessments.
- Compare quotations and conduct technical evaluations.
- Negotiate pricing, service agreements, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain vendor documentation and compliance records.
- Documentation & Proposal Management
- Prepare high-quality project proposals, concept notes, presentations, and grant applications.
- Draft MoUs, partnership agreements, reports, and project documentation.
- Maintain project records, donor reports, utilization documents, and impact reports.
- Coordinate internal approvals and documentation processes.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with internal teams including Program, Finance, HR, Procurement, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Communications.
- Act as the primary point of contact between donors, hospitals, vendors, and government stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth coordination throughout project execution.
- Market Research & Chance Mapping
- Track CSR trends, healthcare priorities, and funding opportunities.
- Monitor government healthcare schemes and CSR regulations.
- Conduct competitor and sector analysis.
- Recommend strategic healthcare initiatives aligned with organizational priorities.
Required Qualifications*
- Master's degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Public Health (MPH), MBA, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in CSR, Grant Writing, Healthcare Management, or Project Management will be an advantage.
Experience*
- 5–8 years of experience in CSR, healthcare partnerships, fundraising, business development, healthcare project management, or NGO sector.
- Experience working with hospitals, healthcare institutions, government departments, and CSR foundations.
- Experience in grant writing and donor management.
- Exposure to FCRA-funded projects or international donor collaborations is preferred.
