About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Logistics Manager to oversee and manage our logistics, transportation, warehousing, and supply-chain operations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth, timely, and cost-effective movement of goods while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage transportation, deliveries, and distribution operations.
- Supervise warehouse and logistics staff.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, customers, and internal teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve logistics issues.
- Control transportation and operational costs.
- Maintain proper logistics documentation and records.
- Monitor vehicle and transporter performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply-chain management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent planning and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of inventory and warehouse management.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and logistics or ERP software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
