Description
KPMG Global Services (KGS) delivers smart working process, rapidly scalable solutions and the right talent . The position in discussion is with Member Firm Technology (MFT) capability in Capability Hubs (CH) at KGS, which is KPMG’s offshore delivery platform and an integral part of the firm’s strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability globally.
Capability Hubs comprises 10 capabilities spanning over 2,400 professionals based in six locations across India and providing solutions to KPMG member firms in the US, UK and Switzerland.
The Group Digital (GD) domain within the MFT capability supports the UK and Swiss firms, and the Group Operations Manager is expected to play a critical role in supporting the GD leadership in enabling the effective performance, resourcing, and operational delivery of the business.
The Operations
Manager will have responsibility for approximately 600 colleagues across Group Digital in the UK, KGS and Switzerland with a reporting line to an Associate Director and will be supported by an Operational Support member.
The role holder will need excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and is expected to maintain high level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail.
Key expectations from the role include:
•Leadership support - serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders within Group Digital.•Develop a strong understanding of team capabilities and skill profiles to support effective resourcing, mobility, and development decisions, ensuring balanced workloads and equitable opportunities.•Partner with GD leadership to build and sustain a high-performing community of Performance Managers, enabling effective career development and wellbeing support for colleagues.•Support the end-to-end recruitment process,
partnering with Recruitment and Resource Management teams to ensure timely fulfilment of internal and external vacancies aligned to business needs and resource requirement.•Working closely with the GD Leadership to manage the cost base by reviewing direct functions costs and non-chargeable spend against budget.•Ensure effective operational governance through robust oversight of travel, contractors, time reporting and people processes.•Support workforce governance through headcount management, people data oversight, engagement surveys and coordination with HR, Resource Management and Learning teams.

Qualifications
•Strong analytical capability, demonstrating a deep understanding of numbers, metrics, and financial principles.•Experience leading teams and managing large-scale transitions across geographies.•Excellent communication and presentation skills.•Demonstrated ability to work under ambiguity and shifts in priorities in a fast paced and complex environment.•Ability to work under ambiguity and shifts in priorities in a fast paced and complex environment.•Strong attention to detail, underpinned by rigorous and consistent quality control•Expertise in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI)•Demonstrated ability to harness GenAI tools to drive operational efficiency, improve accuracy, and elevate overall delivery quality.•Expertise in dashboarding tools such as Power BI and automation tools such as UiPath will be an advantage.
