For our recent manufacturing plant in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, we are looking for a Grinding Machinist.

Your main tasks

Set up and operate CNC tool and cylindrical grinding machines (e.g., ANCA and Rollomatic)



to manufacture high-precision carbide cutting tools according to technical drawings and specifications.
Ensure consistent product quality by performing in-process measurements, tool inspections, and adjustments to meet tight tolerances and customer requirements.
Reduce scrap and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain machines, tooling, and workspace in optimal condition, ensuring adherence to safety standards and contributing to reliable, uninterrupted production.
Interpret technical drawings, tool layouts, and specifications to ensure accurate tool geometry and performance.
Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Adjust machine parameters and tooling proactively to correct deviations and maintain consistency.
Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, scrap rate, and machine utilization.
