Sahyogg is a growing company providing complete solutions for the commercial laundry and dry-cleaning industry. Our portfolio includes commercial washing machines, dryers, washer-extractors, stackers, finishing equipment, laundry chemicals, packaging materials and technical support.

We are looking for a Service Technician to join our Guwahati team and handle installation, servicing, maintenance and troubleshooting of commercial laundry equipment at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation and commissioning of commercial laundry equipment including washing machines, washer-extractors, dryers, stackers and finishing equipment.
- Attend customer service calls and diagnose machine breakdowns efficiently.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, electronic, plumbing and pneumatic issues in laundry equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve machine error codes and operational faults.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and routine inspection of installed machines.
- Check and troubleshoot motors, pumps, belts, bearings, valves, sensors, switches, control panels, heating systems and other components.
- Perform replacement of defective parts and ensure proper machine functioning after repair.
- Understand and work with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
- Basic understanding of gas/LPG/PNG heating systems and dryer operations will be an advantage.
- Check machine installation parameters including water inlet, drainage, electrical supply, earthing, foundation and exhaust/ducting requirements.
- Assist in machine installation, shifting,



dismantling and commissioning at customer sites.
- Conduct machine demonstrations and provide basic operational training to customers and their staff.
- Maintain proper service reports, job sheets, spare-parts records and customer service documentation.
- Coordinate with the Service Manager regarding major breakdowns, spare requirements and unresolved technical issues.
- Ensure timely closure of service complaints and minimize machine downtime.
- Travel to customer locations across Guwahati and other parts of Assam/North-East India, whenever required.
- Maintain company-provided tools, testing equipment and technical materials properly.
- Follow all electrical, mechanical, gas and workplace safety procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related technical field.
- 1–3 years of experience in servicing commercial/industrial equipment is preferred.
- Experience with commercial washing machines, dryers, laundry equipment, industrial machinery, HVAC, pumps, motors or similar equipment will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read basic electrical wiring diagrams/schematics.
- Basic knowledge of motors, relays, contactors, sensors, switches, pumps and control systems.
- Valuable diagnostic and problem-solving ability.
- Willingness to travel for customer-site service.




- Good communication skills and professional behaviour when dealing with customers.
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls responsibly.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence is preferred.

- Comfortable with field travel and emergency breakdown calls when required.
