Dear Candidate, Kings Club, Bangalore is looking for an experienced and technically sound Maintenance Engineer to oversee the upkeep, repair, and smooth functioning of all engineering, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and facility systems across the entire club premises. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility maintenance within hotels, clubs, resorts, or premium hospitality establishments, with proven ability to lead maintenance operations, handle breakdowns, ensure preventive maintenance, and maintain safety & compliance standards across a large, multi-facility premium property.

Experience Required: 3 – 7 years in maintenance/engineering, preferably in hotels, clubs, resorts, or premium hospitality establishments

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Facility & Equipment Maintenance Oversee daily maintenance of entire club: Restaurants, Banquet halls, Kitchen, Spa, Gym, Pool, Sports facilities, Office spaces, Canteen, Parking, Guest rooms & common areas Ensure smooth functioning of electrical systems, DG sets, UPS, pumps, plumbing, HVAC, fire systems, lifts, and other club equipment Prepare and implement daily, weekly, and preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and property areas Conduct regular inspections and facility walkthroughs to identify and resolve issues before they impact operations
- Team Management & Vendor Coordination Supervise, schedule,



and manage maintenance staff and technicians across shifts Train maintenance staff on safety protocols, equipment handling, and Sops Coordinate with external vendors for AMC, repairs, and specialized jobs Monitor attendance, punctuality, and ensure adequate coverage during events/weekends Enforce discipline, safety norms, and professional conduct within the engineering team
- Safety, Compliance & Energy Management Ensure compliance with all safety, electrical, fire, and building regulations Maintain logbooks for DG, electrical panels, water, and equipment readings Coordinate fire safety drills, mock evacuation, and equipment testing Monitor energy consumption and suggest measures for cost and power saving Ensure proper storage and handling of tools, spares, and hazardous materials
- Inventory & Breakdown Management Maintain inventory of spares, tools, electrical and plumbing consumables Raise timely purchase requests for materials and equipment Respond immediately to breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime during club operations Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B;, and events team for setup and maintenance support Maintain equipment history cards and AMC records
- Reporting & Coordination Coordinate closely with F&B;, Banquet, Housekeeping,



and Admin teams for event support and maintenance requirements Respond promptly to maintenance complaints and escalations from staff, members, or management Prepare and submit periodic reports on preventive maintenance, breakdowns, energy usage, and inventory to Operations Manager/General Manager Escalate major issues, facility damage, or budget requirements to senior management

Candidate Requirements

3 to 7 years of experience in maintenance/engineering, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role in hotels, clubs, resorts, or premium hospitality

Diploma/B.E in Electrical, Mechanical, or Facility Engineering preferred. ITI with experience also considered Robust working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, DG, pumps, fire systems, and building maintenance Proven experience handling breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and vendor management Sound understanding of safety, compliance, and energy conservation in hospitality environment

Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure during events Good communication skills to coordinate with other departments.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call during emergencies Basic computer knowledge for reports and maintenance software is an advantage.
