Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, and supervise daily machine shop operations.

- Ensure production schedules are achieved within quality and delivery timelines.

- Manage CNC, VMC, HMC, Turning Centers, and conventional machining operations.

- Monitor machine utilization, productivity, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

- Implement and maintain quality standards and process controls.

- Coordinate with Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Purchase departments.

- Train, mentor, and evaluate machine shop operators and supervisors.

- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to minimize downtime.

- Maintain workplace safety and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

- Control production costs by reducing scrap, rework, and machine downtime.





- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and TPM.

- Prepare production reports, manpower planning, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.

- 815 years of experience in a machine shop, with at least 35 years in a managerial role.

- Solid knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, fixtures, cutting parameters, and manufacturing processes.

- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning.

- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
