M365 Infrastructure SME / L3 Engineer We’re Hiring | M365 Infrastructure SME / L3 Engineer | Pan India We are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Infrastructure SME / L3 Engineer to take ownership of enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 tenant administration, identity, security, messaging, and collaboration workloads. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration, Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, email infrastructure, and migration projects. This role will primarily focus on L3 support, complex troubleshooting, administration, and ensuring the stability and security of Microsoft 365 environments.

Employment Type : Full-time Key Responsibilities Microsoft 365 Administration

Administer and manage enterprise Microsoft 365 tenants and core workloads.

Manage mailboxes, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, groups, and Microsoft 365 licenses.

Perform user provisioning, de-provisioning, access management, and license allocation.

Troubleshoot complex Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 production issues.

Monitor service health and proactively identify and resolve tenant-level issues. Identity & Security

Manage Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) administration and identity services.

Configure and troubleshoot Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Configure and support Single Sign-On (SSO) for enterprise applications.

Troubleshoot application SSO and authentication-related issues.

Work with identity, access, and security teams to maintain secure enterprise environments.

Support enterprise identity and access management policies and controls. Messaging & Email Infrastructure

Manage and troubleshoot Exchange Online and enterprise messaging services.

Troubleshoot email delivery, mail flow,



SMTP relay, connectors, and authentication issues.

Investigate mail delivery failures, NDRs, routing issues, and other complex messaging problems.

Support integration between Microsoft 365 and external/enterprise applications requiring SMTP relay.

Administer and support Microsoft Teams, including user and collaboration-related configurations.

Manage SharePoint Online sites, permissions, and collaboration workloads.

Administer OneDrive for Business and troubleshoot synchronization and access issues.

Support enterprise collaboration services and resolve L3-level incidents. Migration & Transformation

Plan and execute migration of messaging and collaboration workloads from on-premises environments to Microsoft 365.

Support Exchange and collaboration workload migration activities.

Troubleshoot migration-related issues and ensure minimal business disruption.

Work with migration teams and stakeholders during planning, execution, validation, and post-migration support. L3 Support & Incident Management

Act as the L3 escalation point for complex Microsoft 365 infrastructure issues.

Analyze and resolve critical production incidents across M365 workloads.

Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.

Work closely with L1/L2 support, infrastructure teams, security teams, application teams, and vendors.

Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting procedures,



and operational runbooks.

Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.

Mandatory

Skills

10–16 years of experience in Microsoft 365 / Messaging / Infrastructure administration.

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 tenant administration.

Expertise in Exchange Online / Microsoft 365 messaging.

Experience managing mailboxes, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, groups, and O365 licenses.

Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).

Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting MFA and SSO.

Experience with application SSO configuration and troubleshooting.

Strong knowledge of email delivery, SMTP relay, mail flow, and connectors.

Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business.

Experience with on-premises to Microsoft 365 migration projects.

Strong L3 troubleshooting and production support experience.

Ability to handle critical incidents and complex enterprise M365 escalations. Good to Have

Knowledge of Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.

Experience with migration tools such as Quest, BitTitan, or SkySync.

Experience with ServiceNow / ITSM platforms.

Exposure to Microsoft 365 security and compliance capabilities.

Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.

Candidate The ideal candidate is a senior Microsoft 365 Infrastructure SME / L3 Engineer who can independently handle complex production issues and provide technical leadership across M365 workloads.

You should be comfortable being the final escalation point when Microsoft 365 services experience critical issues, while also contributing to migrations, security improvements, tenant administration, and enterprise collaboration initiatives.
