Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and curious Logistics Intern to support our supply chain and logistics operations within a global chemical business. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate who wants hands-on experience in industrial logistics, distribution, and supply chain coordination while learning how goods are safely and efficiently moved across global markets.

You will gain exposure to real-world logistics processes in a regulated environment and work closely with experienced professionals across logistics, planning, customer service, and procurement teams.

What will you be doing

Logistics Supply Chain Support

- Support day-to-day logistics activities, including order tracking, shipment coordination, and delivery follow-up.

- Assist with transport planning and coordination with carriers, warehouses, and freight forwarders.





- Help ensure materials and products are delivered on time and in line with customer and business requirements.

Data Management Reporting

- Maintain and update logistics data, shipment records, and tracking information in company systems.

- Support the preparation of basic logistics reports and performance metrics (e.g. on-time delivery, lead times).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Liaise with internal teams such as production planning, customer service, sales, and finance.

- Support communication with external logistics partners when required.

Compliance Safety Awareness

- Learn and follow procedures related to chemical handling, transport regulations, and safety requirements.

- Support documentation requirements for shipping, including basic transport and export paperwork under supervision.

Learning Improvement

- Participate in training and development activities related to logistics, supply chain, and systems.

- Contribute fresh ideas and support continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics function.
