Role Description The Liquid Cooling Systems Lead (Data Centre) is a full-time, in office role based in Abroad . This position is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and operation of liquid cooling solutions within data centres, ensuring optimal thermal performance, energy efficiency, and system reliability.

The role involves monitoring cooling infrastructure, performing root-cause analysis on performance issues, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and collaborating with IT and facilities teams to integrate cooling systems with wider data centre operations. The Lead will prepare technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and performance reports, as well as support vendor coordination, compliance with safety and environmental standards, and continuous improvement of cooling technologies. Daily work includes hands-on troubleshooting, guiding technical support staff, and communicating system status and risks to stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills to assess system performance, interpret data centre metrics, and optimize liquid cooling configurations.




- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose hardware and cooling system issues, implement corrective actions, and minimize downtime.
- Solid Information Technology foundation, including familiarity with data centre infrastructure, server hardware, and monitoring tools.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, coordinate with vendors, and convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data centre cooling technologies, preferably liquid cooling systems (immersion cooling, cold plate solutions, or similar).
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to data centre operations, safety protocols, and energy efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related technical discipline.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple priorities, and lead technical initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a leadership or senior engineering role within data centre facilities or critical infrastructure is an advantage.
