About the Role The core purpose of this role-

To maintain file records, ability to learn and draft legal documents, research on various case laws, summaries etc. The Incumbent should be willing to travel across country for legal cases, liaise with court officials etc., support the legal team to provide legal advice on all aspects of Corporate law matters in order to support strategic plans, recent business initiatives, strategic decisions on new ventures & asset acquisitions/sell off, JVs, M&As; both domestic and outbound etc.

Role Responsibility

1. Assist all legal affairs of the Company viz. Draft and ensure standardisation (to the extent possible) of legal documents such as Title transfer deeds, Agreement of sale, Conveyance documents, Lease Deeds, License Agreements etc. Coordinate with and seek legal opinion, as required, from legal advisors; Draft, vet and finalize various development Agreement, POA, MOU, Affidavits, J.V. Agreements, Petitions, Suits, Written Statements, etc.
2. Ensure legal due diligence during land / property acquisition particularly Title investigation & Local legislation.
3. To vet and prepare the Documents for the Properties, Redevelopment, Joint Development Schemes, etc. in which the Company is dealing with, basically involve in vetting and drafting the Documents for the Company.
4. Keep abreast of and inform management on relevant developments in real estate, such as court ruling or legislative amendments, attend court cases in High Court,



City Civil Court and Small Causes Court.
5. Excellent file management skills and orderly keeping of all land/revenue/agreement copies.
6. To prepare, update and maintain legal MIS and report to the management on a periodic basis.
7. To brief the Advocates/Solicitors for Court Litigations, Liaison matters on behalf of the Company, negotiating fees, keeping track of payments and maintaining MIS.

Desirable: Candidate should have done LLB degree from a reputed college, having 5-15 years of PQE in a manufacturing background with thorough knowledge of corporate laws and Real Estate related Laws such as Land laws, agricultural laws, would be an added advantage. Law firm having worked for manufacturing industry clients experience will also be accepted.
