Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Leasing Manager role based in Mumbai.

The Leasing

Manager will oversee the end-to-end leasing cycle for mall spaces, including identifying prospective tenants, managing negotiations, and ensuring compliance with company leasing guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research to understand tenant mix trends, preparing and reviewing lease documentation, coordinating with property management and marketing teams, and monitoring lease performance.



The role involves optimizing occupancy rates, supporting strategies for resident and tenant retention, and maintaining strong relationships with retailers and stakeholders.

The Leasing

Manager will also assist in reporting on leasing activities, updating lease administration systems, and contributing to the overall commercial success of the mall project.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of leases and lease administration, with experience in commercial or retail real estate leasing.
- Ability to conduct market research and analyze retail and mall trends to support tenant mix and leasing strategies.
- Experience in property management, including coordination with operations teams and understanding of mall or commercial facility processes.
- Skills in resident and tenant retention, with a focus on relationship management and service quality.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage with developers, retailers, and internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field; advanced qualifications in real estate or retail management are an advantage.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, including proficiency with MS Office and leasing or property management software.
- Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced setting, manage multiple leasing assignments, and meet timelines and targets.
