Main Purpose
Facilitate a proactive and positive Industrial Relations (IR) workplace at the KGD6–Kakinada site. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring all legal and statutory compliances and supporting the Head – HR and Factory Managers in resolving grievances through a consensus-based and consultative approach. The role also involves conducting regular IR climate studies to identify potential IR risks, including community-related issues that may impact industrial relations at the site, while providing and coordinating administrative and facilities management support services.
Job Accountabilities
1. Ensure best practices across Administration, Facilities Management, Industrial Relations, and Legal Compliance.
2. Monitor catering, facilities management, guest houses, mail management, and employee transportation services through optimum fleet utilization, and arrange hotel bookings as required.
3. Ensure budget preparation, PR processing, and contract execution to obtain high-quality services from vendors.
4. Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal requirements related to contract labour deployed at the site and obtain necessary approvals from the concerned authorities.
5. Arrange and distribute office assets and monitor inventory across all locations, including the shore base.
6. Manage events, employee welfare initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
7. Ensure SOPs are established and implemented across all operational areas to facilitate smooth functioning and maintain high service standards.
8. Provide regular MIS, timely feedback, cost analysis of administrative services,
and vendor performance evaluation reports to the Head – HR.
9. Develop and review policies, processes, systems, and infrastructure to enhance contract labour engagement and maintain a peaceful industrial relations climate at the site.
10. Audit, certify, and process contractor compliances, and address queries from internal and external authorities during inspections and compliance audits.
11. Prepare MIS reports on statutory compliance status, analyze gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
12. Liaise with statutory authorities such as the Inspector of Factories and Labour Officials on matters related to the plant.
13. Coordinate with the company's Legal Counsel on pending court cases, monitor their progress, and prepare periodic legal updates for management reporting.
14. Monitor discipline and IR intelligence across the plant and associated areas, including the shore base and port area.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Management, Social Studies, Industrial Relations & Personnel Management (IRPM), or Law (desirable).
- 10–15 years of overall professional experience.
- Proficiency in Telugu is essential.
