Kalky Interior, established in Delhi in 2001 and operating in Bhubaneswar since 2014, is the interior design and execution arm of the Kalky Group. We specialize in premium turnkey residential interiors, working alongside Kalky Infra and Kitzine Modular Kitchen Studio to deliver integrated design, execution and modular solutions. We are expanding our leadership team and are looking for a senior professional who can take complete ownership of projects while mentoring the next generation of designers.

The Role

This is a leadership position for someone who can independently manage premium residential interior projects from concept to handover. The role combines design excellence with client management, technical detailing, vendor coordination and site execution. You will lead design discussions, present concepts to clients, supervise execution teams, resolve on-site challenges and ensure that every project is delivered to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

Lead residential interior projects from concept development to final handover.

Develop space plans, mood boards, material palettes and design presentations.

Independently manage client meetings, presentations, revisions and approvals.

Prepare and review execution-ready working drawings, including layouts, elevations, sections, joinery details, ceiling, electrical and lighting plans.

Ensure drawings are technically coordinated using structured AutoCAD practices, including proper layering, XREF-based coordination, blocks and revision management,



so changes remain consistent across all related drawings.

Possess strong practical knowledge of interior materials, finishes, hardware, modular systems and execution techniques, enabling informed design decisions that balance aesthetics, durability, functionality and budget.

Coordinate with contractors, vendors and modular furniture teams while maintaining design intent, quality and project timelines.

Conduct regular site visits, supervise execution, resolve technical issues and ensure workmanship matches approved drawings and specifications.

Lead, mentor and review the work of junior designers while establishing disciplined design and documentation standards.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a confident, client-facing professional with a minimum of 10 years' experience in residential interior design, including prior experience at a senior level with a reputed interior design or architecture firm in Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Mumbai or Kolkata. Candidates should have excellent communication, leadership and presentation skills, advanced AutoCAD proficiency, strong knowledge of construction detailing and execution, and proven experience handling multiple residential projects simultaneously.

Experience limited to freelance or work-from-home assignments will not be considered.
