Role Description The Lead Designer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Noida, with flexibility for some work-from-home. This role is responsible for driving the visual direction of DIY art kits and related creative experiences, from concept through final execution. Daily responsibilities include developing design concepts, creating and refining artwork and layouts, collaborating with product and marketing teams, and ensuring brand consistency across packaging, digital assets, and instructional materials.
The Lead
Designer will oversee and mentor other designers, manage design timelines, and coordinate with suppliers or production partners to maintain quality standards. The role also involves user-focused design thinking, gathering feedback, and iterating on products to enhance accessibility, engagement,
and ease of use for customers.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in visual and graphic design, including strong skills in typography, layout, and color for both print and digital assets.
Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent) and experience creating packaging, product artwork, and instructional materials.
Experience leading or mentoring design teams, managing creative projects end-to-end, and collaborating cross-functionally with product, marketing, and operations.
Ability to apply user-centered design principles, conduct or interpret user feedback, and translate insights into accessible, engaging creative experiences.
Robust portfolio showcasing relevant work in consumer products, art, DIY, or experiential design, with an emphasis on holistic brand storytelling.
Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills, with the ability to justify design decisions and align stakeholders around a clear creative vision.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Noida, with the ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
