Job Purpose To support the Recent Product Development team in documentation, process control, and coordination activities required to launch new products/projects smoothly from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation Management
Prepare, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for recent and existing processes
Develop and update Control Plans in line with product/process requirements
Maintain PFMEA, Process Flow Charts, Inspection Standards, and other quality documents related to NPD
Ensure all documents comply with company quality standards (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001, if applicable)
Maintain document version control and ensure timely updates/approvals
New Project Process Follow-up
Track current project timelines against APQP (Advance Product Quality Planning) milestones
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Design, Production, Quality, Purchase) for timely project execution
Follow up on trial runs, sample approvals, and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions
Monitor open points/action items from project review meetings and ensure closure
Prepare project status reports/dashboards for management review
Coordination & Support
Assist in organizing design reviews,
PFMEA reviews, and project kick-off meetings
Liaise with suppliers/customers for documentation and approval requirements
Support internal audits related to new product documentation
Requirements
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering (or related field)
1–3 years of experience in NPD, Quality, or Manufacturing (freshers with strong process knowledge may apply for junior roles)
Working knowledge of SOP, Control Plan, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP documentation
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; knowledge of ERP/PLM systems is a plus
Positive coordination, follow-up, and communication skills
Attention to detail and process discipline
Preferred Skills
Exposure to automotive or manufacturing industry quality systems (IATF 16949)
Basic understanding of GD&T; and engineering drawings
Ability to multitask and manage multiple project timelines
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
