Acquiring new clients & managing a portfolio of Government clients (PSUs and All Administered Institutions of Govt of India and State Governments)
Ensure a robust relationship with existing accounts.
Focus on offering financial solutions & cross selling.
Actively and consistently seek an chance to expand share of wallet of the customer base
Build knowledge of all the products being offered to customers.
Maintain ongoing contact with operations in order to ensure smooth delivery of transactions
Implement marketing plans.
Assist the Relationship Management Group in research and analysis on industries/clients/markets
Prepare credit approval/renewal memorandum, generate risk analysis reports on the client portfolio
Articulation of customer requirements to the product teams and work closely for product development to ensure customer needs are met
Co-ordinate with financial markets,



investment banking and retail banking teams to ensure synergies in cross selling products to government/PSU customers
Responsible for management/recovery/NPAs for this cluster of customers
Determining the skills and manning levels required for effective delivery of services
Positive network and knowledge of the working of the GOI/State Governments/PSUs and nuances of relationship management with key influencers in the bureaucracy
Knowledge of government banking marketing concepts & experience in developing, launching and scaling up funded/advisory product lines
Entrepreneurial thinking
Demonstrated ability to drive results and be very effective in a matrix organisation
Understanding of technology in banking
