Role & responsibilities
Prepare and review basic design drawings for hull and structural systems.
Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, structural layouts, and engineering documentation.
Perform hull structural analysis and calculations as per classification rules.
Coordinate with detailed design, production teams, and classification societies.
Ensure compliance with shipbuilding standards and regulatory requirements.
Participate in design reviews and cross-functional technical discussions.
Qualifications: Bachelors / Masters in Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering.
5–15 years of experience in shipbuilding / shipyard design.
Solid expertise in hull structural design & ship design principles.
Hands-on experience with ship design software & classification standards.
Solid technical documentation and coordination skills.
