In order to mold, turn, thread, and finish metal and polymer blocks into extremely exact industrial components, your main task is to set up, modify, and securely run conventional manual lathe equipment. As the "Toolroom Component Authority, " you directly oversee the reading of structural drawings, the computation of cutting feed rates, the grinding of specialized HSS High/-Speed Steel cutting tools, and the accurate micron measurement of completed pieces.

Managing crucial engineering risks including center alignment errors, component dimension undersizing producing scrap logs, parting/-off tool breakages, surface finish chatter,



and tool/-crash safety dangers is the cornerstone of our mechanical repair capacity.

Key Skills/: Advanced Conventional Lathe Setup Literacy/: Complete operational control over center lathe mechanisms, such as quick/-change gears, compound slides, cross/-slides, lead screws, and tailstock configurations.
