LaTeX Typesetter / STM Typesetter

RGN Publications is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented LaTeX Typesetter to join our editorial and publication team. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing, formatting, and typesetting research articles, books, conference proceedings, and other scientific publications using LaTeX.

Key Responsibilities

- Typeset research papers, journal articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings using LaTeX.
- Convert manuscripts to LaTeX where required.
- Prepare manuscripts according to journal-specific LaTeX templates and formatting guidelines.
- Manage BibTeX/BibLaTeX references and check citation formatting.
- Ensure proper placement and formatting of figures, tables, equations, captions, and cross-references.
- Prepare high-quality, print-ready and publication-ready PDF files.
- Check manuscripts carefully for typographical, formatting, and typesetting errors.
- Incorporate corrections received from authors, editors, and referees.
- Coordinate with the editorial team to ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Maintain consistency in fonts, styles, headings, references, equations,



and page layout.

Required Skills

- Good working knowledge of LaTeX and scientific typesetting.
- Familiarity with TeX-based editing environments.
- Knowledge of mathematical and scientific notation.
- Experience with BibTeX/BibLaTeX and reference formatting.
- Ability to work with tables, figures, equations, cross-references, and bibliographies.
- Valuable command of English and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and correct LaTeX compilation and formatting errors.
- Good knowledge of MS Word and PDF handling.

Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with experience in journal publishing, academic publishing, scientific typesetting, or a publication house will be preferred. Experience with XML/HTML production or journal production workflows will be an added advantage. Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience. Freshers with strong LaTeX skills may also apply.

Salary: INR 17,000 to 25,000

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
