Role Description:

The Laboratory Assistant (Physics) (Contractual) will support day-to-day operations of physics laboratories, ensuring that practical sessions and experiments run smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities include preparing and setting up laboratory equipment and materials, assisting faculty and students during experiments,



and maintaining an organized inventory of instruments, consumables, and lab records. The role involves routine inspection, calibration, and minor maintenance of laboratory equipment, adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards, and proper handling and disposal of materials.

The Laboratory

Assistant will also help in documenting experimental procedures, supporting demonstrations, and coordinating with administrative staff for lab-related procurement and logistics. This is a full time, on-site role based in South Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential:

1. Bachelor’s degree in science (PCM) or B.Voc in relevant stream
2. Knowledge about handling equipments/apparatus related to physics and electrical circuit lab
3. Knowledge about carrying out experiments of Physics, Electrical and other laboratories

Desirable:

- Master’s degree in physics
- Previous experience as laboratory professional in Engineering college or university
