- Conducting laboratory tests: The lab technician is responsible for conducting a variety of laboratory tests, hormones including blood tests, urine tests, and other diagnostic tests. They must ensure that all tests are conducted accurately and within established time frames.
- Maintaining laboratory equipment: The senior lab technician is responsible for maintaining all laboratory equipment, ensuring that it is functioning properly, and making any necessary repairs.

3.Managing laboratory inventory: The senior lab technician is responsible for managing laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies, tracking inventory levels, and ensuring that all supplies are properly stored.

- Supervising other lab technicians: The lab technician is responsible for supervising other lab technicians, providing guidance and training as needed, and ensuring that all work is conducted in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Analyzing test results: The lab technician is responsible for analyzing test results, interpreting findings,



and reporting results to other healthcare professionals.
- Maintaining accurate records: The senior lab technician is responsible for maintaining accurate records of all laboratory tests, including patient information, test results, and other relevant data.
- Adhering to safety protocols: The senior lab technician is responsible for adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, including those related to handling hazardous materials and disposing of waste.
- Qualification: DMLT or B.sc MLT (DME are preferred).

Overall, the senior lab technician plays a critical role in the diagnostic center, ensuring that all laboratory operations are conducted efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
