Role Description The Junior Video Editor role is a full-time, remote position focused on supporting the post-production process for a variety of commercial and brand film projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, organizing and labeling media, and creating rough cuts under the guidance of senior editors.

Editor will refine edits based on feedback, add basic transitions and effects, sync audio and video, and ensure that visual and audio quality standards are met. The role also involves collaborating with motion designers, CGI artists, and producers,



following project timelines, and maintaining file management best practices. This position offers the chance to grow editing skills, gain exposure to high-profile brand work, and develop a solid foundation in professional post-production workflows.

Qualifications

Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) and familiarity with motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).

Strong foundational skills in editing principles, including pacing, storytelling, continuity, and visual composition.

Understanding of post-production processes, such as color correction, audio leveling, and export formats for various platforms.

Ability to organize project files, manage multiple timelines, and follow established naming and versioning conventions.

Attention to detail, ability to take constructive feedback, and willingness to iterate on edits to meet creative and brand guidelines.

Good communication skills and comfort collaborating remotely with diverse creative and production teams.

Demonstrated interest in visual storytelling, advertising, or film through coursework, personal projects, or internships.
