Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division for a Junior Software Engineer focused on Node.js, React Native, GraphQL, and AI-driven applications. The junior engineer will assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining backend services in Node.js and mobile applications using React Native.
Day-to-day work includes implementing GraphQL APIs, integrating AI/LLM features into products, debugging and resolving issues, writing clean and well-documented code, and participating in code reviews. The role also involves collaborating with senior engineers, product managers, and designers,
contributing to microservices-based architectures, and learning best practices in software delivery, version control, and continuous integration.
Qualifications
- Foundational experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js for backend development, including building REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Exposure to React Native for mobile application development, with an understanding of UI components, state management, and app deployment basics.
- Basic familiarity with GraphQL concepts such as schemas, queries, mutations, and integration with frontend or backend services.
- Interest or experience in AI/ML, LLM integration, or RAG/agentic AI systems, even through academic projects or personal experimentation.
- Knowledge of software engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, version control (Git), testing, and debugging practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment, communicate clearly, and follow agile workflows and documentation standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Nice-to-have: experience with microservices, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Docker), or CI/CD pipelines.
