Role Description: The Jr.
Video Editor
Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting video production and post-production across multiple social media platforms. Day-to-day tasks include editing short-form and long-form video content, organizing footage, applying basic color correction, and preparing assets for platform-specific formats. The intern will collaborate with the content and strategy teams to implement creative directions, integrate motion graphics and simple visual elements, and follow established workflows and templates. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with thumbnail creation, optimizing videos for different platforms, and incorporating feedback to improve content quality and consistency.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Video Production and an understanding of pre-production and basic filming workflows.
- Candidates should possess robust Video Editing skills, including cutting, sequencing, audio syncing, and exporting for social platforms.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading and basic color correction to ensure visual consistency across content.
- Candidates should possess introductory skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, lower thirds, overlays, and simple animations.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and graphics tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop, Canva) is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow documented processes, and openness to iterative feedback and data-driven improvement are important.
- Interest in social media content, AI-assisted workflows, and multi-platform publishing; prior experience with YouTube or short-form video is a plus.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment; current students or recent graduates in media, film, or related fields are encouraged to apply.

Term: For a long-term Basis.
Video Duration: 8 -18 min long videos & 15-120 sec short videos
Budget: 8k-10k/Month, according to the Video Editing style.
Note: This will be the base amount. You will never get less than that, whereas it will increase on a project basis. It's Better than Unpaid.
