Role Description The Jewelry Designer role is a full time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Jewelry

Designer will create original concepts for fashion jewelry, translating ideas into sketches, technical drawings, and prototypes. Daily responsibilities include developing cohesive collections, collaborating with internal teams on product themes and materials, and refining designs based on feedback and market trends. The role involves using both traditional drawing techniques and computer-aided design (CAD) tools to produce detailed designs suitable for production.

The Jewelry

Designer will also assist in sourcing materials, maintaining design documentation,



and ensuring that final products meet aesthetic, functional, and quality standards.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Jewelry Design and Fashion Jewelry, with the ability to develop creative and market-relevant collections.

Proficiency in Drawing and Product Design, including sketching concepts and translating them into technical specifications.

Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for jewelry or product design, and comfort working with digital design workflows.

Understanding of materials, stones, finishes, and manufacturing processes commonly used in jewelry production.

Attention to detail, a strong aesthetic sense, and the ability to balance creativity with practicality and cost considerations.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with design, production, and merchandising teams.

Relevant education in jewelry design, fashion design, industrial design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Portfolio demonstrating original jewelry designs and familiarity with current trends is highly desirable.
