: Jewellery Retail Sales Representative Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra Department: Retail Sales Reports To: Store Manager / Retail Operations Manager Employment Type: Full time About The Role We are looking for a personable and target-driven Jewellery Retail Sales Representative to join our showroom team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for jewellery, strong customer engagement skills, and the ability to guide clients through purchases ranging from everyday pieces to high-value occasion wear.

Key Responsibilities Greet and engage walk-in customers, understanding their preferences, budget, and occasion to recommend suitable jewellery pieces

Explain product details including metal purity (gold/silver karats), gemstone quality, certification (BIS hallmark, GIA/IGI certificates), and pricing/making charges

Achieve individual and store sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis

Handle billing, exchange, buyback, and old-jewellery valuation processes accurately

Maintain showroom displays, ensure proper stock arrangement, and assist with inventory counts

Build long-term customer relationships through follow-ups, festive/wedding season outreach, and after-sales service

Educate customers on jewellery care, warranty,



and maintenance

Coordinate with the design/custom-order team for bespoke jewellery requests

Ensure compliance with company policies on hallmarking, billing (GST), and security protocols

Handle customer grievances and escalate complex issues to the Store Manager Requirements Graduate in any discipline (preferred);

certification in Gemology or Jewellery Design is a plus

2–10 years of experience in jewellery, luxury retail, or high-value product sales

Strong communication skills in Hindi, English, and Marathi (preferred)

Sound understanding of gold/diamond pricing, hallmarking standards, and billing software

Presentable, well-groomed, and customer-service oriented

Ability to work on weekends, holidays, and during festive/wedding seasons

Basic computer literacy (billing systems, MS Excel) Preferred Skills Prior experience with branded jewellery retail chains

Knowledge of CRM tools for customer relationship management
