About The Role The Associate Architect - Java at Quantiphi is a pivotal role designed for experienced professionals who possess a deep understanding of enterprise Java applications and modern software development practices. In this role, you will serve as a bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring that technical solutions align with business goals and technical standards. Your expertise will guide the design, development, and modernization of complex Java-based applications, emphasizing high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.

You will be responsible for engaging with clients to gather requirements, providing technical consultation, and overseeing the implementation of architectural best practices. Additionally, mentoring team members, evaluating project data, and staying abreast of emerging technologies will be key components of your responsibilities, contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery and technical excellence.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in enterprise Java application development, modernization, and cloud integration. A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required, with proven expertise in Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, J2EE, and microservices architecture. Familiarity with API development and integration, cloud platforms like AWS, and automated code modernization tools is essential.





Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in tools like Git, Maven, and JFrog, along with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

Experience in developing and deploying REST and SOAP APIs, working with SQL or NoSQL databases, and applying agile methodologies is expected. A strong problem-solving mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in distributed teams are also crucial.

Certifications in AWS or related cloud technologies, along with exposure to application security practices, will be advantageous.

Responsibilities As an Associate Architect, your primary responsibilities will include engaging with clients for project briefing, consultation, installation, and project close-out reviews. You will support the design, development, enhancement, and modernization of enterprise Java applications, collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Managing customer demands and ensuring satisfaction while maintaining high standards of quality will be a key focus.

You will negotiate project requirements, create comprehensive technical documentation, and supervise activities between internal and external resources to facilitate smooth service delivery. Leading project data evaluation, setting targets, and mentoring team members to enhance their skills will be part of your role. Staying current with industry best practices and emerging trends will help improve service standards.

You will review customer technical demands, advise on optimal methods for maintaining and utilizing delivered materials,



and conduct research on new technologies to maximize results. Additionally, you will ensure APIs are robust, maintainable, and aligned with architectural best practices, coordinate with different infrastructure layers, and troubleshoot development and production issues.

Your role will also involve participating in team meetings, collaborating across multiple environments, and executing technical duties that support the modernization and enhancement of client solutions.
