About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Internal Audit Executive to ensure compliance, financial accuracy, and operational efficiency across hospital departments. The role will focus on auditing clinical, administrative, and financial processes to minimize risk and ensure adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Audit & Compliance

- Conduct regular internal audits of OPD, IPD, pharmacy, lab, billing, stores, and HR/payroll
- Check compliance with NABH, NABL, Ayushman Bharat, and other healthcare regulations
- Verify adherence to hospital SOPs, policies, and government guidelines

2. Financial Audit

- Audit patient billing, insurance claims, TPA settlements, and cash/credit collections
- Verify procurement, vendor payments, inventory, and expense vouchers
- Identify revenue leakage, pilferage, and process gaps

3. Operational Audit

- Review patient flow, bed management, discharge process, and documentation
- Audit inventory management for medicines,



surgical, and consumables
- Check IT system controls in HIS/HMS for data integrity

4. Reporting

- Prepare audit reports with findings, risks, and recommendations
- Present audit observations to management and follow up on corrective actions
- Maintain audit tracker and ensure timely closure of audit points

Required Qualifications

- Education: http://B.Com / http://M.Com / MBA Finance. CA Inter / CIA / CPA preferred
- Experience: 2-5 years in internal audit, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setup
- Knowledge:
- Hospital billing, insurance, pharmacy and store processes
- NABH/NABL standards and healthcare compliance
- MS Office, Excel. Knowledge of HIS/HMS software is a plus
