Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer – Residential Projects role based in Bengaluru North.

The Interior

Designer will plan and design residential spaces, creating functional layouts that align with client needs, aesthetics, and budget. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand requirements, preparing design concepts and mood boards, developing detailed drawings and specifications, and coordinating FF&E; selections such as furniture, fixtures, and equipment. The role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure designs are executed accurately,



overseeing on-site work to maintain quality and timelines, and aligning projects with SquareYards’ standards for design excellence.

The Interior

Designer will also support project documentation, cost estimates, and presentations, contributing to a seamless and skilled client experience.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Interior Design skills, including the ability to develop residential concepts, layouts, and material palettes.

Candidates should possess Space Planning skills to optimize room functionality, circulation, and ergonomic use of residential interiors.

Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to interpret and prepare plans, sections, and detailed drawings for execution.

Candidates should possess FF&E; expertise for selecting and specifying furniture, fixtures, equipment, finishes, and accessories suitable for residential projects.

Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).

Strong visualization, presentation, and client communication abilities.

Experience managing residential projects from concept to completion, including coordination with site teams and vendors.

Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru North and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
