Role Description The Interior Designer role at Interex Arch Designs Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

The Interior

Designer will develop creative and functional design concepts for commercial and corporate interiors, including space planning, material selection, and coordination of finishes and furnishings. Daily responsibilities include preparing mood boards, drawings, and presentations, collaborating with architects, project managers, and contractors,



and conducting site visits to ensure design intent is accurately executed. The role involves creating and reviewing construction drawings, coordinating FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and aligning designs with client requirements, budgets, and timelines.

The Interior

Designer will also participate in client meetings, provide design recommendations, and support quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to create efficient, aesthetic, and functional layouts.

Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings to translate design concepts into accurate technical documentation.

Candidates should possess skills in FF&E; to select and coordinate furniture, fixtures, and equipment that align with design standards and budgets.

Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office tools.

Strong visualization, detail orientation, and knowledge of materials, finishes, and building regulations.

Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Prior experience in commercial or corporate interior projects in India, preferably in Mumbai, is an advantage.
