· Technically competent to review and understand the Contractor’s System Integration design processes and technical design submissions (with minimal guidance)
· Able to engage effectively with Contractor and Client during design / interface workshops to achieve effect resolution
· Competent in handling the complex Rolling Stock – Signaling & Train Control Interfaces along with interfaces with track, PSD, Depot M&P;, Overhead Power Supply, Civil etc.
· Demonstrable competence in managing the integration tests at RS factory and at site, coordination with relevant stakeholders including Employer.
· Competent to interpret and understand the contractual obligations defined in the Tender Specification and manage the Contractor’s compliance
· Demonstrable ability to identify, understand and apply relevant Engineering Standards
· Able to work under own initiative,
resolve conflict and produce high quality reports and presentations
Qualifications
· BTech Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree (MTech or MSc preferred) Requirements
We are seeking a technically competent System Integration Engineer to oversee and manage the integration of Rolling Stock systems with Signaling and Train Control Systems, along with other key sub-systems such as Track, Platform Screen Doors (PSD), Depot M&P;, Overhead Power Supply, and Civil interfaces.
The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background, excellent coordination skills, and experience in managing system integration activities during both the design and implementation phases of large-scale metro rail projects.
