We are looking for an Integration Security & Access Governance Engineer to join a global Enterprise Integration Platform (EIP) programme.
The role will focus on strengthening security and access governance across integration environments, with particular emphasis on technical and service accounts, Segregation of Duties (SoD), emergency access, least-privilege principles and production access controls.
The successful candidate will work closely with Security, SAP/Integration, IT Operations and business stakeholders to establish robust, controlled and audit-ready access processes within a regulated and compliance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse and remediate Segregation of Duties (SoD) risks relating to technical and service accounts.
Review existing service-account access and identify inappropriate or excessive privileges.
Define and implement least-privilege access principles for integration and production environments.
Design and formalise emergency access / firefighter processes, including appropriate controls and approval workflows.
Establish controlled request and approval processes for privileged and emergency access.
Review and restrict unnecessary standing access to PROD environments.
Work with technical teams to ensure service accounts and integration users comply with security and governance requirements.
Support the implementation and improvement of IAM controls for technical and service accounts.
Analyse access risks and recommend appropriate remediation actions.
Collaborate with SAP and integration teams to understand authorisation requirements and access dependencies.
Ensure security controls are properly documented and maintained.
Prepare audit-ready documentation covering access controls, approvals, SoD remediation and emergency access procedures.
Support internal and external audit activities and respond to compliance requirements.
Contribute to the standardisation of security and access governance processes across integration platforms.
Track actions, risks and remediation activities and provide clear progress updates to stakeholders.
Work effectively in an Agile, international and cross-functional environment.
Required Skills
4+ years of experience in IAM, Access Governance, Security Governance or a closely related area.
Strong experience with technical and service-account access management.
Practical experience with Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and remediation.
Experience designing or managing emergency access / firefighter processes.
Strong understanding of least-privilege principles.
Experience managing or reviewing access to production / PROD environments.
Experience with IAM tools, access request workflows or governance platforms.
Strong understanding of access-control policies and governance frameworks.
Experience producing audit-ready security and compliance documentation.
Ability to work closely with technical and functional teams.
Strong English communication skills.
Nice to Have
Experience with SAP authorisations and security concepts.
Experience with SAP integration environments and technical users/service accounts.
Knowledge of SAP roles, authorisations and access governance.
Experience in regulated / GxP environments.
Experience supporting internal or external audits.
Experience working with ServiceNow or similar ITSM/workflow platforms.
Experience with enterprise IAM platforms such as SAP GRC, SailPoint, ServiceNow IAM or equivalent.
Experience in large international organisations.
