Role Description The Insurance Consultant role at Bajaj Life is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The consultant will guide customers in selecting suitable life insurance products, including term plans, ULIPs, and savings solutions, aligned with their financial goals and risk profiles.

Daily responsibilities include conducting needs-based financial assessments, explaining policy features and advantages, providing premium and coverage illustrations, and assisting customers through the application and underwriting process.



The role also involves maintaining strong customer relationships, handling service inquiries, supporting policy renewals, and collaborating with branch teams to achieve sales and service targets. The consultant is expected to adhere to regulatory guidelines, uphold ethical sales practices, and contribute to a high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Insurance products and life insurance solutions, with the ability to match offerings to customer needs.
- Understanding of Finance concepts such as risk profiling, long-term savings, and basic investment principles.
- Experience in Consulting or advisory roles, with a consultative approach to needs analysis and solution recommendation.
- Proven Customer Service skills, including responsiveness, empathy, and resolution of queries and concerns.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information in straightforward terms.
- Relevant experience in financial services, banking, or insurance sales is preferred.
- Minimum educational qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline; qualifications in finance, insurance, or business are an advantage.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment, with strong interpersonal skills and ethical sales practices.
- Proficiency in local language and basic computer skills for digital platforms and CRM systems.
