Role Description The Information Technology Infrastructure Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering IT infrastructure projects, including network, server, storage, and cloud-related initiatives, from initiation through closure.

Day-to-day activities include defining project scope and timelines, managing budgets and resources, coordinating with cross-functional technical teams, and ensuring adherence to organizational standards and security requirements.

The Project

Manager will track progress, manage risks and issues, communicate status updates to stakeholders, and prepare documentation such as project plans, reports, and implementation guides. The role also involves collaborating with clients and internal teams to align infrastructure solutions with business needs, supporting testing and deployment activities, and driving continuous improvement in project delivery processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust IT infrastructure knowledge, including experience with networks, servers, storage, cloud platforms, and related enterprise technologies.




- Candidates should possess project management skills such as planning, scheduling, risk management, stakeholder communication, and budget/resource oversight.
- Candidates should possess skills in requirements gathering, documentation, process improvement, and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business terms.
- Candidates should possess collaboration and leadership skills, including team coordination, vendor management, and conflict resolution in cross-functional environments.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and support data-driven decision-making.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL are an advantage.
- Experience managing enterprise-scale infrastructure projects, ideally in public sector or highly regulated environments, is beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and the ability to work on-site in Chennai are required.
