About the Role We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior HR Manager to lead and manage core HR functions across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in HR policies, compliance, payroll management, and employee engagement, along with hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment.
Human Resources (HR) Executive / HR Manager
Department: Human Resources
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Position Summary The Human Resources Executive/Manager will be responsible for developing and managing all HR functions across corporate offices, warehouses, and client locations. The role includes recruitment, employee lifecycle management, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, performance management, employee engagement, training, policy implementation, and HRMIS administration.
The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in handling blue-collar and white-collar workforce management within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, retail, or supply chain organizations.
Key Responsibilities
1. 1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
* Prepare manpower planning in coordination with business teams.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process.
- Recruit corporate employees, warehouse staff, supervisors, and management personnel.
- Coordinate with recruitment agencies and job portals.
- Conduct interviews and candidate evaluations.
- Manage offer letters, appointment letters, and onboarding documentation.
- Ensure timely hiring for recent business launches.
1. Employee Onboarding
* Conduct induction programs.
- Complete joining formalities.
- Verify educational and employment documents.
- Create employee records in HRMS.
- Coordinate IT, Administration, and Operations for onboarding.
1. Performance Management
* Coordinate KPI setting.
- Support quarterly and annual performance reviews.
- Maintain appraisal documentation.
- Recommend promotions and salary revisions based on performance.
1. Employee Engagement
* Organize employee engagement activities.
- Manage Employee of the Month programs.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys.
- Handle grievance redressal.
- Promote positive workplace culture.
1. HR Operations
* Maintain employee master database.
- Manage attendance records.
- Coordinate leave management.
- Maintain employee files.
- Issue employment-related letters including:
- Confirmation Letters
- Promotion Letters
- Transfer Letters
- Experience Certificates
- Relieving Letters
- Warning Letters
- Show Cause Notices
1. Payroll Coordination
* Coordinate monthly payroll inputs.
- Verify attendance and overtime.
- Process incentives and reimbursements.
- Coordinate Full & Final settlements.
- Maintain payroll records.
1. Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with:
- Labour Laws
- Shops & Establishment Act
- Factories Act (where applicable)
- EPF
- ESIC
- Professional Tax
- Gratuity
- Bonus Act
- Minimum Wages Act
- CLRA Act
- POSH Compliance
- Labour Welfare Fund
- Maternity Benefit Act
Coordinate labour inspections and statutory audits
1. Contractor & Workforce Management
* Manage outsourced manpower.
- Verify contractor compliance.
- Ensure contractor statutory documentation.
- Maintain manpower deployment records.
- Coordinate with Operations regarding workforce requirements.
1. HR Policies
* Draft HR policies.
- Update Employee Handbook.
- Ensure implementation of company policies.
- Conduct policy awareness sessions.
1. Learning & Development
* Identify training needs.
- Conduct orientation and skill development programs.
- Coordinate external training.
- Maintain training records.
1. HR Analytics & Reporting
Prepare monthly HR MIS including:
- Headcount
- Attrition
- Recruitment status
- Attendance
- Leave analysis
- Payroll reports
- Productivity reports
- Training reports
- Employee engagement metrics
1. Compliance Documentation
Maintain records for:
- Employee files
- Labour licenses
- Contractor agreements
- Compliance certificates
- Statutory registers
- Inspection reports
- HR audit documents
Required Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
Experience
- HR Executive: 2–5 years
- HR Manager: 5–10 years
- Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Retail, or FMCG preferred.
