We're looking for a proactive and growth-oriented HR Intern who is excited to explore how AI can transform HR practices while contributing to meaningful people, culture, and organisational performance initiatives.

Primary Role: HR Operations & People Enablement

You will contribute across key HR functions, including:

Recruitment and onboarding

Learning and development

Employee engagement initiatives

Employee communication, grievance handling, and satisfaction tracking

Performance management and performance documentation

Researching AI tools, HR technology, and emerging workplace trends

Supporting Organisational Performance Management (OPM) initiatives, including alignment, accountability, ownership, and performance observations

Secondary Role: Social Psychology Research Intern (Mental Well-Being)

Support A4G's mental well-being work by conducting applied social psychology research into the behavioural, emotional, and social factors that shape well-being, and translating those findings into A4G's programmes and initiatives.

Key responsibilities include

Design and conduct research (surveys, interviews, observations) on well-being, stress, motivation, and social support within the mental well-being area

Review academic literature on mental well-being and social psychology, and translate findings into practical, actionable recommendations

Collect, code, and analyse qualitative and quantitative data related to well-being outcomes





Identify behavioural and social drivers of mental well-being, resilience, and healthy group dynamics

Support the design and evaluation of evidence-based well-being initiatives and interventions

Document findings and present clear insights to inform A4G's mental well-being strategy and decisions

Uphold ethical research standards, including informed consent, confidentiality, participant safety, and unbiased methods

This role sits within HR and A4G's mental well-being area (one of its three focus areas alongside AI governance and sole proprietorship) and combines social psychology, behavioural research, data analysis, and well-being-focused organisational insight in a quick-paced, mission-driven setting. Eligibility

This opportunity is open only to candidates who:

Are interested in building a career in Human Resources.





Have a background in Social Psychology or Organisational Psychology, or demonstrate a genuine interest in understanding human emotions, behaviour, motivation, interpersonal relationships, and group dynamics.

Candidates without an interest in both Human Resources and people behaviour/social psychology will not be considered. What We're Looking For

Strong empathy, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills

Excellent written and verbal communication

Interest in AI, HR Technology, organisational development, and startup ecosystems

Ability to effectively use AI tools and prompting for planning, research, and execution

Self-driven, adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn in a remote work environment

Internship Details

Duration: 6 Months

Mode: Remote

Working Hours: 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST

Minimum Time Commitment: 30 hours per week Stipend

₹5,000 per month for the first 2 months

₹7,500 per month for Months 3 and 4, subject to achieving a performance rating of 4/5 or above

₹10,000 per month for Months 5 and 6, subject to achieving a performance rating of 4/5 or above
