What’s the role?
This role is part of a lean HR team and is designed to strengthen day-to-day HR and Talent operations. The HR Generalist will work closely with the HR Manager and recruiting team to ensure smooth execution of processes while acting as a key point of contact for employees and managers.
The role requires someone who is comfortable with ownership, prioritization, and shifting focus based on business needs. As business needs change, there is scope for the role to evolve based on organizational requirements and individual capability.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and execute core HR operations, including employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, exits, role changes,
and documentation
- Act as a primary HR contact for employees and managers, addressing day-to-day people queries and issues
- Support HR business partnering activities by providing operational inputs, context, and follow-through
- Support and coordinate benefits administration and payroll activities in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
- Support end-to-end talent acquisition activities as needed, including sourcing support, interview coordination, candidate communication, and offer rollouts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date people data and records
- Lead execution of employee engagement initiatives and events.
- Drive employee experience initiatives and act on employee feedback.
- Support culture-building programs and company values initiatives.
- Identify gaps in processes and suggest improvements to improve efficiency and employee experience
The ideal candidate will have…
- 8-12 years of experience across HR operations, business partnering and talent acquisition
- Experience working in lean HR teams or fast-paced environments
- Prior experience supporting statutory compliance, benefits administration and payroll processes
- Robust organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable interacting with employees, managers, and senior stakeholders especially in a product setup
- Exposure to end-to-end recruitment processes
- Professional judgment, discretion, and the ability to escalate issues appropriately
