HR Executive
Position: HR Executive
Department: Human Resources
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: MG Road Gurgaon
Reporting To: Management / HR Head
About the Role
We are looking for a responsible, proactive, and people-oriented HR Executive to manage the day-to-day HR functions of our organisation. The candidate will play an important role in hiring the right talent, maintaining a positive relationship with existing employees, ensuring smooth HR operations, and implementing the organisation's policies, rules, and regulations.
The ideal candidate should be approachable yet professional, have strong communication and people-management skills, and be capable of independently handling HR responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Hiring
- Manage the complete recruitment process, from identifying manpower requirements to onboarding new employees.
- Source and screen candidates through relevant recruitment platforms, referrals, and other channels.
- Conduct initial interviews and coordinate further rounds with the concerned management/team.
- Evaluate candidates based on skills, experience, attitude, and suitability for the organisation.
- Maintain a proper recruitment pipeline and employee hiring records.
- Ensure smooth joining and onboarding of new employees.
2. Employee Engagement & Relations
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees for HR-related matters.
- Build and maintain healthy and professional relationships with employees across departments.
- Regularly interact with employees to understand their concerns, challenges, and requirements.
- Address employee grievances fairly and professionally and escalate important matters to management when required.
- Organise employee engagement activities and initiatives to maintain a positive work environment.
- Promote a healthy, respectful, and professional workplace culture.
3. HR Operations
- Manage day-to-day HR activities and ensure smooth functioning of HR processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, leave, joining, and exit documentation.
- Coordinate with management and relevant departments regarding employee-related matters.
- Assist with payroll inputs, employee documentation, and other administrative requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and company-related matters.
- Ensure all HR processes and documentation are maintained properly and on time.
4. Policies, Rules & Compliance
- Ensure employees are aware of and follow the organisation's rules, policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
- Conduct HR orientation and policy training for new and existing employees.
- Regularly communicate important organisational policies and updates to employees.
- Monitor adherence to workplace policies and address violations appropriately.
- Maintain proper documentation of disciplinary actions, warnings, and other employee-related matters when required.
- Ensure HR practices are aligned with applicable employment laws and regulations.
5. Training & Development
- Identify training requirements across different departments.
- Coordinate and conduct employee training and orientation sessions.
- Ensure new employees receive proper training regarding organisational policies, processes, work culture, and expectations.
- Support managers in identifying areas for employee development and improvement.
- Maintain records of employee training and development activities.
6. Performance Management
- Assist management in establishing and communicating performance expectations.
- Coordinate periodic performance reviews and appraisal processes.
- Maintain performance-related records and documentation.
- Work with managers and employees to identify performance gaps and improvement areas.
- Support management in implementing appropriate performance improvement measures.
7. Employee Onboarding & Offboarding
- Manage the complete onboarding process for new employees.
- Ensure all joining documents and formalities are completed.
- Conduct HR induction and introduce employees to company policies and culture.
- Manage resignation, notice period, exit interviews, and other offboarding formalities.
- Ensure proper handover and completion of exit documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in HR.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of recruitment and employee management.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- Good knowledge of HR policies, processes, and employment practices.
- Ability to communicate company rules and policies firmly yet professionally.
- Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace; experience with HRMS will be an advantage.

What This Role Requires The HR Executive will be expected to take end-to-end ownership of the organisation's HR function from hiring and onboarding recent employees to employee engagement, training, policy implementation, performance management, and day-to-day employee concerns. The right candidate should be someone who can balance employee well-being with the organisation's requirements, maintain professionalism, and ensure that HR policies and processes are consistently followed across the organisation.
