This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a HRSD Functional Product Owner based in India.

This is a strategic opportunity to shape and optimize HR Service Delivery capabilities through the ServiceNow HRSD platform.

You will own the functional HRSD demand pipeline, translating business needs and operational insights into high-value solutions.

The role combines product ownership, business analysis, and HR technology expertise in a global enterprise environment.

You will work closely with HR operations, Centers of Excellence, and technical product leadership to align priorities and delivery.

Your work will directly influence employee experience, self-service adoption, service efficiency, and Tier 1 effectiveness.

You will operate in a collaborative, backlog-driven environment where data, business value, and continuous improvement guide decisions.

Accountabilities:

- Define, manage, and prioritize HRSD demand, translating business requirements and operational insights into a clear, value-driven functional backlog.
- Create and refine epics, features, and user stories aligned with HR outcomes, including clear success measures and acceptance criteria.
- Evaluate priorities and make informed trade-off decisions across scope, speed, and employee experience to maximize the value delivered through HRSD.
- Partner closely with HRSD operations, HR Centers of Excellence, and technical product leadership to ensure functional requirements are well understood, feasible, and aligned with ServiceNow capabilities.
- Collaborate with technical teams throughout delivery to maintain alignment between business objectives and platform capabilities.
- Validate delivered solutions against business requirements and expected outcomes, ensuring improvements in self-service adoption,



Tier 1 effectiveness, and overall service performance.
- Support continuous improvement of HR service models, identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and enhanced employee experiences.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience working with ServiceNow HRSD as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Functional HRSD Architect.
- Strong practical experience with ServiceNow HRSD capabilities, including case management, knowledge management, and Employee Service Center.
- Proven ability to translate complex business needs into structured functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable backlogs.
- Experience prioritizing work based on business value and operating within a backlog-driven product delivery model.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across HR, technology, operations, and business teams.
- A structured, analytical, and customer-focused approach to solving problems and improving HR service delivery.
- Experience with enterprise ServiceNow HRSD implementations or enhancements is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, product management practices, backlog management, and release cycles is preferred.
- Experience driving HRSD service model improvements, including Tier 0/1 optimization, automation, or AI-enabled service delivery, is a plus.
