Lead, supervise, and manage the housekeeping team by providing clear communication, comprehensive training, coaching, and constructive performance feedback to ensure maximum efficiency and staff development

Conduct daily inspections of all guestrooms, public areas, exterior spaces, and back-of-house areas to maintain the highest cleanliness standards and ensure compliance with organizational policies

Monitor and oversee the completion of deep cleaning programs, assign tasks strategically, and ensure smooth workflow throughout the department

Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions while maintaining transparent and empathetic communication with all team members

Issue daily assignments to staff, review special requests and priority areas, and manage the Lost and Found system to ensure optimal coordination and guest satisfaction

Control inventory by issuing supplies and goods to staff at the beginning of shifts, ensuring adequate resources are available while managing expenses effectively

Respond promptly to guest questions and requests, providing assistance, direction, and information to enhance the guest experience

Ensure strict compliance with accident prevention programs, health and sanitation regulations,



and quality assurance standards to maintain a safe and clean environment

Analyze operational data, identify areas for improvement, and recommend and implement procedural changes to enhance efficiency and service quality

Collaborate with other departments to coordinate services and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

Proven leadership experience with demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and develop housekeeping teams effectively

Service-focused personality with genuine commitment to guest satisfaction and exceptional customer care

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (verbal and written English)

Solid work ethic, reliability, and resilience in high-pressure situations

Budget management and cost control experience with demonstrated ability to manage departmental expenses

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a decisive, transparent approach to decision-making

Proven conflict resolution and employee relations skills with ability to address concerns professionally and empathetically

Experience developing and implementing quality assurance standards, inspection protocols, and performance metrics

Hospitality-oriented background with experience in hotel or facility management environments

Proven experience in staff recruitment, performance management, training, and development

Experience managing housekeeping operations, including deep cleaning programs, quality assurance, and inventory management

Knowledge of health, safety, sanitation regulations, accident prevention programs, and Lost and Found system management

Demonstrated experience with workforce scheduling, task assignment, and operational workflow coordination

Experience managing vendor relationships and procurement of housekeeping supplies and equipment

Familiarity with sustainability practices and green cleaning initiatives in hospitality settings Job-Category: Rooms
