Role Description The Health and Safety Officer is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The role involves conducting regular workplace inspections, identifying hazards, and recommending corrective actions to maintain safe working conditions. The Health and Safety Officer will develop and update safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with legal and organizational requirements, and deliver training sessions to employees on safety practices and emergency response.

Daily responsibilities include investigating incidents, maintaining safety records and reports,



coordinating with management on compliance with health and safety regulations, and supporting continuous improvement of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) programs.

Qualifications Strong knowledge and practical experience in Health & Safety and Workplace Safety.

Experience in Occupational Health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) practices and systems.

Relevant qualified certification such as NEBOSH or equivalent safety qualification.

Understanding of applicable local and national health and safety regulations and standards.

Ability to conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.

Effective communication and training skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels.

Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to maintain accurate documentation.

Previous experience in a similar health and safety role;

experience in industrial or construction settings is an advantage.

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
