About the Role The Office of the CEO (Strategy, M&A; & IR) sits at the centre of Reliance Retail's Fashion & Lifestyle Exports business, supporting the Head - Fashion & Lifestyle Exports on strategic planning, acquisitions and stakeholder communication. You will convert group-level Export Strategy Office guidance into organisation-level strategy, targets and resource plans, and track performance against those targets through regular strategic reviews.

You will manage the F&L; acquisition pipeline in close coordination with the group M&A; and Corporate Development function - supporting identification, evaluation and integration planning of acquisition targets, contributing to due diligence and deal-structuring input, and tracking post-acquisition integration milestones.

You will also support investor relations and internal stakeholder communication related to the organisation's performance and strategic initiatives, preparing briefing materials for Group Export Council and Advisory Council interactions. You will own the organisation's governance cadence and reporting to the Head - Fashion & Lifestyle Exports and the group Export Strategy Office, working closely with Finance, Category Management and Sales & Key Accounts to keep strategy and commercial execution tightly aligned. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to operate at the intersection of strategy, M&A; and leadership communication in a rapid-scaling, acquisition-led export business.





Key Responsibilities

- Translate Export Strategy Office and Chairman's Office guidance into organisation-level strategy, targets and resource plans
- Track organisation performance against targets and prepare periodic strategic reviews
- Support identification, evaluation and integration planning of acquisition targets, working with the group M&A; function
- Support due diligence, deal-structuring input and post-acquisition integration tracking
- Support investor relations and internal stakeholder communication on performance and strategic initiatives
- Prepare briefing materials for Group Export Council and Advisory Council interactions
- Own organisation-level governance cadence, business reviews and reporting
- Partner with Finance, Category Management and Sales & Key Accounts to align strategy with commercial execution

Job Specification / Candidate Requirements
- 10-15 years of experience in corporate strategy, M&A;, investment banking or corporate development, ideally with exposure to export or international consumer businesses
- MBA from a premier institute preferred, or a CA/CFA background with strategy/M&A; experience
- Demonstrated experience in M&A; due diligence, deal structuring and post-acquisition integration
- Experience preparing board- or investor-level communication and governance materials
