Role Description The Head of Software Engineering for Canada Opportunities is a full-time, on-site role based in Canada. This role is responsible for leading the software engineering function that supports internal operations, client-facing platforms, and digital tools used for immigration and visa consulting services.

Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing software development projects, defining technical direction and enterprise architecture, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions. The position involves managing and mentoring engineering teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, prioritizing technical initiatives, and coordinating project timelines and deliverables. The Head of Software Engineering also drives continuous improvement,



establishes best practices, and aligns technology strategies with business objectives related to Canada immigration opportunities.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Software Development, with experience designing, implementing, and maintaining complex applications and platforms.
- Proven Team Management and Team Leadership abilities, including mentoring engineers, building high-performing teams, and fostering a collaborative culture.
- Demonstrated Project Management experience, with a track record of delivering technology initiatives on time, within scope, and aligned with business requirements.
- Expertise in Enterprise Architecture, including defining technical standards, system integration patterns, and long-term technology roadmaps.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience leading engineering functions in a product-based or consulting workplace; exposure to immigration, legal services, or skilled services domains is an advantage.
- Proficiency with modern development frameworks, cloud platforms, and security best practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
