As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are looking for an experienced Head of Human Resources – HR Operations & Talent Acquisition to lead and strengthen the complete HR function across our Corporate Office and branch network.
Role Overview The Head of Human Resources – HR Operations & Talent Acquisition will be responsible for the end-to-end HR function, with primary ownership of Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Workforce Planning, Performance Management, Employee Relations, HR Compliance, Employee Engagement and HR MIS.
This is a hands-on HR leadership role requiring the ability to combine strategic HR planning with strong day-to-day execution.
The role will work closely with senior management, department heads, regional teams and branch leadership to ensure the organization attracts, develops and retains the right talent while maintaining effective HR processes and a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities1.
Talent
Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Lead end-to-end recruitment for Corporate, Regional and Branch-level positions.
Develop recruitment strategies aligned with business growth and manpower requirements.
Partner with business and functional heads to understand current and future workforce requirements.
Manage sourcing through LinkedIn, job portals, recruitment consultants, employee referrals and other appropriate channels.
Establish recruitment targets and turnaround times for critical positions.
Monitor the complete recruitment funnel from sourcing and screening to interview, offer and joining.
Improve offer-to-joining ratio, quality of hire and time-to-fill.
Build a strong talent pipeline for critical and recurring positions.
Conduct and coordinate interviews for managerial and key positions.
Develop effective recruitment processes and selection standards across the organization.
- HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
Oversee the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to separation.
Ensure smooth onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfer, promotion and exit processes.
Monitor employee attendance, leave, rosters and HR records.
Ensure accurate and timely payroll inputs and employee-related data.
Maintain accurate employee records, documentation and HRMS information.
Standardize HR operational processes across Corporate and Branch locations.
Ensure HR activities are completed within defined timelines and company policies.

Performance
Management
Lead and strengthen the organization's Performance Management System (PMS).
Work with department heads to establish measurable KPIs, KRAs and performance expectations.
Ensure timely probation, confirmation and periodic performance reviews.
Monitor employee productivity and performance trends.
Manage and monitor Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) where required.
Support managers in addressing performance gaps through structured coaching and corrective action.
Identify high performers and support career-development and retention initiatives.

Employee
Relations & Engagement
Build and maintain a professional, respectful and performance-oriented workplace culture.
Address employee concerns and workplace matters in a timely and professional manner.
Support managers in handling employee relations and workplace issues.
Develop employee engagement, recognition and retention initiatives.
Analyse employee attrition and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
Conduct employee feedback and engagement activities.
Strengthen communication between employees, managers and senior leadership.
- HR Policies, Governance & Compliance
Develop, review and implement HR policies, SOPs and processes.
Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies across all locations.
Maintain appropriate HR documentation and employee records.
Coordinate applicable statutory HR and labour-law compliance requirements.
Support grievance and disciplinary processes in accordance with company policy and applicable requirements.
Ensure confidentiality and responsible handling of employee and organizational information.
Conduct periodic HR process reviews and identify areas for improvement.
- HR MIS & Analytics
Develop and maintain HR dashboards and management reports covering:
Manpower and vacancies
Recruitment performance
Joining and offer conversion
Employee attrition and retention
Attendance and leave
Employee productivity
Performance management
Training and development
HR compliance
Provide regular HR MIS and actionable insights to senior management.
Identify workforce trends, risks and performance gaps through HR data analysis.
Recommend corrective actions based on HR metrics and business requirements.
- HR Team Leadership
Lead and manage the HR team covering Talent Acquisition and HR Operations.
Define clear roles, responsibilities,
KPIs and timelines for HR team members.
Conduct regular HR team performance reviews.
Coach, guide and develop HR team members.
Build accountability for timely completion of recruitment and HR operational activities.
Ensure effective coordination between HR, business departments and branch teams.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Graduate degree required. MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or an equivalent HR qualification is preferred.
8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with solid exposure to both HR Operations and Talent Acquisition.
Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR managerial or leadership role.
Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment and HR operations.
Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle management, performance management, employee relations and HR policies.
Working knowledge of applicable HR and labour compliance requirements.
Experience managing and developing an HR team.
Strong experience with HRMS, recruitment platforms, job portals and HR MIS/reporting.
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work closely with senior management and business leaders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within defined timelines.
High standards of professional integrity, confidentiality and accountability.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with HR leadership experience in a multi-location or multi-branch organization would be preferred.
Experience in sectors such as Retail, BFSI, NBFC, Fintech, Jewellery, Financial Services or other customer-facing service businesses would be an advantage.
Experience recruiting and managing HR requirements for Sales, Operations, Customer Service and Corporate functions across multiple locations would be valuable.
