Role Description The Head of Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing all financial operations for Brik Oven. This role manages budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely insights for leadership and stakeholders. The Head of Finance develops and implements financial controls, monitors restaurant-level costs, and supports pricing, menu profitability, and expansion decisions.

Daily responsibilities include supervising accounting activities, coordinating audits, managing vendor payments and receivables, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and tax requirements.



The role also partners closely with operations and leadership to guide strategic planning, risk management, and long-term financial sustainability.

Qualifications

Strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to provide data-driven recommendations.

Proficiency in accounting, financial reporting, and cash flow management, including oversight of monthly and annual closing activities.

Experience with financial controls, compliance, and risk management, preferably within the hospitality or food & beverage sector.

Ability to analyze cost structures, margins, and profitability at outlet and brand levels, and support pricing and menu decisions.

Comfort with financial software, spreadsheets, and ERP or POS integrations relevant to restaurant operations.

Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with experience guiding and developing finance teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; a skilled qualification such as CA, CMA, or MBA in Finance is an advantage.

Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high ethical standards.
