Reliance Retail is seeking a strong finance leader to head Finance, Control & Accounts for Swadesh, its premium platform for authentic Indian art, craft and handloom.

The Head — FC&A; will be the finance business partner to the Business Head and the leadership team, owning financial planning and analysis, commercial finance, cash flow, controls, management information systems (MIS) and business performance reporting across the corporate organisation and the Reliance Foundation Artisan Initiative for Skill Enhancement (RAISE) artisan network. This leader will bring financial discipline and decision support to a growing, multi-category omnichannel business with domestic, international and business-to-business (B2B) dimensions.

We are looking for a leader who has:

- Led finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A;) or commercial finance for a retail, consumer or multi-unit business.
- Partnered business leaders on growth, margin, cost and capital decisions.
- Owned cash flow, working capital and forex exposure in a growing business.
- Built financial planning, MIS, controls and reporting systems at scale.
- Managed inventory, working capital and unit economics in an inventory-led business.
- Handled export finance, customs and duty compliance, or cross-border payments in an international business.
- Strengthened governance, compliance and financial control in a complex organisation.
- Used data and analytics to sharpen business decisions and performance visibility.

Experience in retail, consumer, e-commerce or another inventory-led business would be particularly relevant.

Prior experience in India is valuable but not essential for an outstanding leader with the adaptability to operate across the scale and diversity of the Indian market.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Swadesh is Reliance Retail’s premium destination for authentic Indian art, craft and handloom, operating an omnichannel model of experiential stores and a digital storefront, sourced through a nationwide network of RAISE artisan centres.

We are seeking a Head — Finance, Control & Accounts to lead the finance organisation and act as principal finance business partner to the Business Head and leadership team. The role owns financial planning and analysis, commercial finance, cash flow, controls, MIS and performance reporting across both the corporate organisation and the RAISE network, spanning the domestic,



international and B2B dimensions of the business.

This is an opportunity to build the financial backbone of a growing, purpose-led business, and to bring rigour to how it plans, invests, funds, controls cost and measures performance as it scales.

THE MANDATE The Head — FC&A; will own financial planning, commercial finance, cash flow, controls and reporting for Swadesh. The role leads the commercial finance and MIS team and partners the Business Head, the corporate function heads and the RAISE leadership, working closely with the Reliance Retail corporate finance organisation on governance, controls and reporting standards.

WHAT YOU WILL LEAD

1. Financial Planning and Analysis

- Own the annual operating plan, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning for the business.
- Provide decision support on growth, pricing, margin, cost and capital allocation to the Business Head and leadership team.

2. Commercial Finance and Business Partnering

- Partner category, online, operations and RAISE leaders on business cases, investment decisions and performance improvement.
- Bring commercial challenge and financial insight to range, pricing, network and expansion decisions.

3. Cash Flow Management

- Own cash flow planning and working-capital optimisation across the business.
- Manage forex exposure across the domestic and international business, working with the Reliance Retail corporate finance organisation.

4. International and Export Finance

- Lead financial structuring for exports, including customs and duty compliance and cross-border payments.
- Own profitability management of the international and B2B business, bringing financial discipline to its growth.

5. Controls, Governance and Compliance

- Establish and maintain a robust control environment across the corporate organisation and RAISE centres.
- Ensure statutory, tax and internal compliance in line with Reliance Retail governance standards.

6. MIS, Reporting and Performance Visibility

- Build MIS and reporting that give the leadership team real-time, reliable visibility of performance across categories, channels and geographies.
- Drive inventory, working-capital and unit-economics visibility in an inventory-led business.

7. Artisan Ecosystem and Sourcing Economics

- Build the commercial understanding of the artisan ecosystem and sourcing models so that business growth is balanced with artisan sustainability.
- Bring financial insight to sourcing, capacity and pricing decisions across the RAISE network.

8. Organisation and Leadership

- Build and lead the commercial finance and MIS team,



closing current vacancies and creating capability depth.
- Create a culture of financial discipline, transparency and business partnership.

- Disciplined cash flow and working-capital management across domestic and international operations.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

You will be a senior finance leader who has:

- Personally led finance, FP&A; or commercial finance for a retail, consumer or multi-unit business.
- Managed planning, cash flow, controls, MIS and reporting responsibilities at significant scale.
- Owned cash flow, working capital and forex exposure, ideally across domestic and international operations.
- A strong record of partnering business leaders to improve growth, margin, cost and capital outcomes.
- Deep knowledge of FP&A;, commercial finance, cash flow, controls, governance and inventory and working-capital management.
- Exposure to export finance, customs and duty compliance, or cross-border payments in an international or B2B business.
- Strong commercial judgement and comfort using data and analytics for decision support.
- Demonstrated ability to build finance teams, develop successors and operate as a trusted business partner.
- Treasury experience would be an advantage.

A professional accounting or finance qualification (CA, CMA, MBA Finance or equivalent) is expected. Experience in retail, consumer, e-commerce or another inventory-led business would be particularly valuable. Prior India experience is an advantage but is not essential for an exceptional leader with the adaptability to operate across the diversity and complexity of the Indian market.
